The Procurement Officer will manage the procurement of goods, materials, equipment, raw materials, spare parts, and services required for investment projects both on-site and for the office in Ulaanbaatar. This role will ensure procurement activities and carried out efficiently, ensuring supplies are delivered on time. Receive validated purchase requests from stakeholders, source suppliers, obtain price quotes, and conduct price comparisons Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and issue purchase orders for both one-time and recurring purchases Assess suppliers' performance based on price, quality, delivery time, and quantity to ensure alignment with purchase orders Maintain and update the supplier and inventory databases, creating new vendor profiles and updating item cards as needed Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation for company vehicles, including tax, insurance, and annual check-ups Assist in preparing tender documents and maintaining procurement related records Perform other duties within the Supply Chain Department as necessary
Set up and maintain project cost control systems, cost codes, and reporting frameworks Monitor project budgets and actual costs across all work packages and disciplines Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets (analyze variances and forecast cost performance) Prepare and submit cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor services. Collaborate with project managers to assess project performance, validate estimates, monitor progress, and control changes. Identify and mitigate financial risks throughout the project lifecycle and recommend contingency budgets Support Project Schedule with time-phased cost estimates and cash flow projectionsProvide recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency improvements by analyzing market data and trends. Support procurement planning and change order assessments Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
